In Rehab Guru you can review and manage every exercise programme you have sent a client. This guide covers finding them, what the list tells you, the actions available on each one, and how programme versions work when you re-issue a plan a client is already working through.
A programme you have sent, whether it was built in the Creator or the Advanced editor, can be re-issued as a new version rather than sent again as a separate programme. The client keeps the same programme and link, their progress is kept, and every earlier version stays on record. See What's New in the Creator.
Opening a client's programmes
Go to the Clients page and click View next to the client you want.
You land on the Prescriptions tab, which lists every exercise programme for that client.
Reading the list
Each row shows:
Status - whether the programme is Active, or Closed because it expired or programme access was closed.
The case it is linked to, if any.
The date and time it was sent, and the unique ID assigned to it. The ID is what you paste into the Creator's Templates tab to pull an old programme back in.
Checking the status of each programme
The prescription action menu
Click the three dots at the end of a row to open Actions, where you can load the exercises back into the Creator (Load Exercises into Collection), issue a new version, view the prescription as plain text or in a new tab, open its notes or results, send it again, close it, manage its cases, adjust it with RGai, or delete it. On a programme that is Closed, Open Prescription appears in place of Close prescription, so you can open it to the client again.

Programme versions
A programme that has been re-issued carries a version badge beside its title, for example v2 · history. A programme that has only been sent once has no badge.
The version badge on a re-issued programme
Click the badge to open the version history. Each version shows:
Its number, and whether it is Current or Superseded.
The date and time it was issued, and for a superseded version, when it was replaced.
The size of the plan, for example 14 exercises across 5 weeks, 35 days and 76 items.
The version history on a prescription
Click View on any row to open that version exactly as it was issued, including the superseded ones.
Opening an earlier version
Results and adherence are kept across versions, so a client's history is not lost when you re-issue a plan. Each re-issue is also recorded in the audit log.
Issuing a new version
Use this when a client is midway through a plan and you want to change it, for example swapping an exercise after a flare-up, without starting them on a separate programme.
Open the Actions menu on the programme and choose Issue a new version.
Confirm with Replace and edit. The programme is loaded into the Creator so you can work on it.
Confirming the re-issue before the Creator loads the plan
This replaces whatever is currently in the Creator. If you have unfinished work there, save it first with Save as template from the arrow beside Publish.
Make your changes, for example adding an exercise or changing its sets and reps. A banner across the top confirms you are editing the assigned programme.
In the Creator, click Publish and go through the drawer as usual: its final button reads Publish new version with the next version number, for example Publish new version (v2). In the Advanced editor, click Save new version. The client's programme is updated in place, their link and progress are kept, and the previous version is marked Superseded in the history.
Saving a new version in the Advanced editor
In the Advanced editor, the arrow beside Save new version offers two alternatives: Save as template, and Assign as a new programme instead if you would rather send this as a separate prescription. In either editor, Detach in the banner breaks the link to the assigned programme and leaves you with an ordinary plan.
Common questions
Does the client have to do anything?
No. They keep the same programme and the same link, and see the updated plan the next time they open it.Can I go back to an earlier version?
Earlier versions stay in the history and can be viewed at any time. To put one back in front of the client, open it, then issue it as a new version. Why does my programme have no version badge?
Because it has only been issued once. The badge appears after the first re-issue.Can I reopen a programme that has closed?
Yes. Click the three dots on the Closed programme and choose Open Prescription.
