What's new?
As part of the Summer '26 release, we've bundled together a number of updates we've been working on for some time. This article covers changes to bookings, the diary page, the client portal, and the client record - helping you take full advantage of the new options available in your Appointments and Portal Settings.
Incremental booking slots
Previously, appointment availability on the booking portal was shown end-to-end based on appointment length (e.g. a 45-minute appointment starting at 2:00pm meant the next slot wasn't available until 2:45pm). This made it difficult for clients to pick a convenient time and could leave awkward gaps in your diary.
You can now set a booking interval - every 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or aligned to the hour - from your Appointments > Portal Settings. Once saved, both the booking portal and your diary will offer incremental slots at your chosen interval, giving clients far more flexibility when choosing an appointment time.

Refreshed diary page
The diary page has a new side menu, making it quicker to switch between practitioners and view exceptions. When viewing an appointment, available actions are now displayed more clearly, and you can jump straight to client details or notes from the same view.

Configurable cancellation policies
Rather than a single blanket cancellation window, you can now build a set of cancellation policies with a sliding scale of refunds based on how close to the appointment time the cancellation occurs. This can be set up in Appointments > Portal Settings.
For example, you could configure a policy so that cancellations 48+ hours in advance receive a 100% refund, 24–48 hours in advance receive a 50% refund, and anything within 24 hours (or left unspecified) receives a 0% refund.

Additional booking notes
The booking portal now supports an additional notes field, allowing clients to share information with their practitioner at the time of booking. Any notes submitted this way appear automatically in the appointment notes, so practitioners can see relevant details as soon as they view the appointment.

Sample form library and labelling
Alongside your own custom forms, you now have access to a newly organised sample form library of templates provided by Rehab Guru. You can preview any template and, if it suits your needs, clone it directly into your own form list.
The form-building interface has also been cleaned up to make creating forms quicker and easier. For practices with large form libraries, you can now apply labels to forms and filter your list by label - the same labelling feature is also available for correspondence templates.

Expanded client search
Client search now supports searching by email address or PIN number, in addition to searching by name. Further search options, such as last session logged and date of birth, are planned for future updates.

Refined progress charts
The client reporting page has been refined with new, more legible charts. Hovering over a chart gives clear at-a-glance information, and clicking through leads to a more refined, easier-to-read detail view of a patient's progress over time.

Copy to new note
Treatment notes now support a "copy to new note" option, useful for practitioners who often repeat similar templated notes with patients. Selecting this copies the contents of a previous note into an editable pane, so you can make quick updates and save it as a new note in seconds.

Improved client addresses
Client addresses can now be edited using a structured format - replacing the previous lookup-based approach. This is a more robust way of storing address data, and existing client addresses will migrate automatically with no action needed.
