New Rehab Guru Client App & Portal - What's Changing

We're excited to introduce a redesigned Rehab Guru Client App and web Portal. Here's everything your clients need to know before the update goes live.

What's new?

The new portal is available now - we'd encourage you to test it at portal.rehabguru.com and share any feedback before the full rollout.

Giving clients advance notice will make the transition much smoother - particularly around restoring past programmes in the new app.

Timer & stopwatch

A built-in timer and stopwatch now appears automatically whenever a time parameter is prescribed - no manual setup needed.

Apple Health integration

Health data now syncs directly with the app. Clients can also submit rep counts as feedback.

New web portal

The client portal has moved to portal.rehabguru.com. Any existing programme links will redirect there automatically, so clients don't need to do anything to access their programmes via the web.

Save or preview mode

When opening a programme in the portal, clients will now be asked whether they want to save the programme to their browser or just preview it. This is useful for clients on shared computers - choosing Preview means their programme data won't be stored in the browser, similar to using a private or incognito window.

Things to Test

We would recommend testing these out with yourself as a test client, to ensure your customisation and branding displays the way you'd like.

  • Assign yourself a programme, and load it in the app or web portal, to view how your Branding and Customisation styles display for your clients.

  • Test how clients load their programmes with email verification, or via prescription ID.

  • Test out the Preview and Save to Browser options.

  • Assign programmes with Client Reporting enabled, to view how your clients are prompted to submit feedback.

What your clients need to do

Restoring past programmes in the app

After updating to the new app, past programmes won't appear automatically. To restore them, clients should:

1. Open the new Rehab Guru Client App

2. Tap Access Programmes via Email

3. Enter the email address their programmes were sent to

4. Enter the verification code sent to that inbox

5. Select which programmes they'd like to restore
