Duplicating and amending an Exercise

Learn how to duplicate, edit, and personalise exercises in Rehab Guru's exercise library.

Ensure you are in Creator>Exercises to duplicate an exercise. Access to Rehab Guru AI is required for generating descriptions.

Steps to Duplicate and clone an Exercise

  • Navigate to the Exercise Page

  • Go to Creator>Exercises to access the exercise library.

  • Duplicate the Exercise

  • Locate the exercise you wish to duplicate.

  • Click the middle button (one of the three action buttons for each exercise).

  • You will see an alert at the top left confirming the duplication and directing you to My Exercises.

View and edit the cloned Exercise

  • Navigate to Choose Collection>My Exercises on the left-hand menu.

  • Locate the duplicated exercise. Options available:

    • Edit: Make changes to the exercise.

    • Delete: Remove the duplicated exercise from My Exercises.

  • Modify Exercise Details

  • When editing, you can adjust:

    • Name

    • Tags (e.g., equipment used, difficulty)

    • Descriptions:

      • Write manually.

      • Use the Generate button to create descriptions using Rehab Guru AI.

  • Manage Team Permissions

  • View team sharing permissions to control access and editing rights for team members.

  • If the exercise contains patient-specific data:

    • Select the Exercise Contains Patient Details checkbox.

    • Choose the client from the dropdown or create a new client using their name and email.

  • This will lock the exercise to that client, preventing its use outside of their programmes.

Exercises locked to a client cannot be shared or added to templates. Ensure this is necessary before locking.

  • Update Media Content

  • Remove existing images or videos using the Delete Media buttons.

  • Upload new media:

    • Click Upload Image or Upload Video.

    • Use a connected camera (on mobile) or browse your device for files.

  • Save the Exercise

  • Once all edits are complete, click Save to finalise the exercise in My Exercises.

By following these steps, you can easily duplicate, edit, and assign exercises tailored to your clients' needs, ensuring accuracy and security throughout the process.
