Requesting a new Exercise be added to the Library

How to ask the Rehab Guru team to film and add a new exercise to the main library, using the Request form in the Creator.

Written by Cloudia Barr

If an exercise you need is not in the Rehab Guru library, you can ask us to add it. Requests are reviewed by the team and the most-wanted exercises are collected into the next filming batch.

If you need the exercise today, create it yourself instead. See Creating and managing Exercises, which also covers duplicating a similar library exercise and adapting it.

Step 1: Finding the Request button

Open Creator from the sidebar. At the foot of the exercise library panel on the left, beside Create exercise, is the Request button.

Step 2: Opening the request form

Clicking Request opens the Request an exercise drawer on the right of the screen. Click the orange Request an exercise button at the bottom of the drawer to start the short form. It takes under a minute.

Step 3: Answering the questions

The form asks three questions, one at a time. Click OK or press enter after each one to move on.

  • What is the exercise called? (required): use the name you would search for. If it goes by more than one name, give both.

Entering the name of the exercise

  • Is there a video of it anywhere we can look at? (required): paste a link, for example on YouTube, showing the movement. This is the single most useful thing you can include, as it removes any doubt about which variation you mean.

Adding a video link for the exercise

  • Want to know when it's filmed? (optional): add your email address if you would like us to tell you when the exercise is live in the library.

Click Submit to send your request.

Adding an email and submitting the request

To leave without sending anything, close the drawer with the X in its top right corner.

What happens next

The team reviews every request. Exercises are filmed in batches, so the most requested ones are gathered into the next shoot. You will not usually get a date, but if you added your email address we will let you know when the exercise is live in the library.
