In Rehab Guru, each client is automatically assigned a unique four-digit PIN, which can be used as an additional layer of security when accessing exercise programmes. This guide will show you how to view and use a client’s PIN if needed.
Viewing a Client’s PIN
Navigate to the Clients page and locate the client whose PIN you want to view.
Click the blue View button next to the client’s name.
On the top left, below the client’s name, you will see their Email Address and their unique four-digit PIN.
Viewing the client’s email and unique PIN on their profile
Every client’s PIN is unique and automatically generated. It cannot be changed or edited.
Using the Client PIN for Security
When sending an exercise programme, you can require the client’s PIN as an additional layer of security. This is optional and generally not required unless specified by the client or organisation.
To use the PIN for security, navigate to the Publish page when assigning the exercise programme.
Assigning an exercise programme with the option to require a client PIN for access
Toggle the option to require the client’s PIN. If enabled, the client must enter their four-digit PIN to access the assigned exercise programme.
If the PIN is not required, leave the option deselected, and the programme will be sent without the client needing to use their PIN.
Important Notes
PINs cannot be changed: The client’s PIN is automatically generated and cannot be modified. It will remain the same for the duration of the client’s account.
Use of PINs: While the feature exists, it is not commonly used outside of specific organisations like the Ministry of Defence. For most clients, the PIN is optional.
Following these steps, you can view and manage client PINs in Rehab Guru, ensuring additional security for exercise programme access.
