How to Use ecovery Inside RehabGuru
The ecovery integration is accessed through the Correspondence section of Rehab Guru.
Step 1: Generate the ecovery Template by cloning in Templates
Navigate to Correspondence>Templates and locate the ecovery Template.
Click on Clone to copy it into your available Templates.

Step 2: Create a New Correspondence Item
Open the relevant Client profile.
Navigate to Correspondence.
Click Create New Correspondence.

Step 3: Apply the ecovery Template
Click Choose Template.

Select the ecovery Template you have just cloned.
Click Apply.

This generates a draft referral Letter designed to:
Introduce the purpose of the referral
Present specialist options
Provide clear, professional communication
You can fully customise this Template to suit your clinical style and Client needs.

Step 4: Search for Specialists
Place your cursor where you'd like the specialist list to appear, then click Search Specialists.
By default, the first 20 matching specialists will be displayed.
You can refine your search using filters such as:
Location Filters
Suburb
Geographic Area
Practice & Operator
Hospital or Operator Affiliation
Specialty & Subspecialty
Primary Specialty
Subspecialty Focus
Advanced Clinical Filters
Complex Arthroplasty
Arthroplasty Revision
Enhanced Recovery Protocols
Robotic-assisted Procedures
Young Adult Care
Condition-Specific Search - Choose from 834+ condition-specific options.

These filters allow you to narrow down results to the exact specialist profile your Client requires.
Step 5: Shortlist and Insert Specialists
Once you’ve identified suitable Specialists:
Select the Specialists with the checkbox, to add them to your shortlist.
Click Select.
The selected Specialists will automatically be inserted into your Correspondence document.

Step 6: Preview and Send

After inserting your Specialist list:
Edit the letter as needed.
Click Preview.

Download as a PDF.
Send via email directly to your patient.
